Sentenium has long experience helping organizations with some or all phases of small- and large-scale research and data collection projects. From a logistical perspective, Sentenium processes significant volumes of surveys and forms every day and provides clients ongoing consulting on technology, distribution, and workflow. From a research and analysis perspective, Sentenium has and brings in experts who specialize in different stages of the research and data collection cycle and different types of research needs. These experts, many with graduate degrees (MS, MBA, PhD), include marketing and branding specialists, industrial psychologists, statisticians, organizational consultants, and others.

You will work as part of the sales team to introduce the company to targeted industries and companies in Northern CA. As a member of our sales team, you will make phone calls to prospects and leads to set qualified meetings for Sentenium's consulting staff with the goal of helping us to sell research consulting services to these companies. If you like talking to new people over the phone each day, and motivated by incentive compensation tied to meeting goals, this job could be perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Proven track record of securing meetings w/top level decision makers.

• Review, and report on business development activities, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed.

• Impact the profitability of the company through results from strategic and tactical new business development opportunities.

• Support effective marketing, advertising and promotional activities.


The successful candidate will have a successful track record of inside sales/lead generation leading to potential meetings. Experience using a variety of sourcing techniques including outbound calls and internet research is necessary. Must be a strong team player, have superior communication skills, be well organized and highly motivated. Knowledge of the market research industry and/or selling consulting services is a plus, but not required as we will train you on our services, though experience with cold lead sales is critical.

Specific Requirements:

• You must be good at and enjoy making calls to potential clients and setup meetings for professional staff.

• You should be able to attend industry conferences to meet new prospects.

• You should have at least 5 years of sales experience.

• Proven track record of securing meetings w/top level decision makers.

• Good project and time management skills
